Synchronous Learning

Synchronous learning refers to a learning event in which a group of students are engaging in learning at the same time.

Synchronous learning can be viewed as a part of hybrid course. Online sessions held regularly can serve as a great example of synchronous learning. This approach helps avoid a huge amount of drop-outs and keep up morale. Opposite to it is asynchronous learning.
