Personalised learning

Personalised learning, otherwise known as student-centred learning, is a combination of active learning, cooperative learning and inductive teaching and learning (e.g. case studies, problem-based learning, project-based learning etc.) in order to enhance student progress, achievement and participation. To achieve this you need:

pupils to be actively engaged in their learning, rather than passive
individualised feedback and support from teachers
stakeholder engagement (where possible/applicable)

A diverse variety of educational approaches that address the distinct needs and context of individual students.

Also known as student-centred learning, meeting the needs of the student rather than what might be logistically easier for educational institutions.
