Interleaving

Learning about multiple skills in one session, assessing after a delay of learning another skill. This can seem more difficult but retention has been shown to be far greater because the brain has to work harder to encode the new information and skill.

For example, you might have a session about fractions, and then a session on algebra, followed by a game to practice using fractions.
